Features:

  • Size: 0.5 inches
  • Application Type: EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing)
  • Material: Zinc die-cast
  • Weight: 0.04 lbs
  • Construction: Concrete-tight
  • Standards: Meets UL514B
  • This connector is used to connect EMT conduit to a metal outlet box, load center, or other metal boxes where an offset is needed.
  • It's suitable for indoor use.

Applications:

  1. Connecting to Metal Outlet Boxes: Used to connect EMT conduit to metal outlet boxes where an offset is required.
  2. Load Centers: Ideal for connecting EMT conduit to load centers in electrical installations.
  3. Other Metal Boxes: Suitable for connecting EMT conduit to various other metal boxes where an offset is needed

Installation:

  1. Measure and Cut the Conduit: Use a tape measure to determine the length of EMT conduit needed. Mark the cutting point with a marker and cut the conduit using an EMT conduit cutter.
  2. Deburr the Edges: Smooth out the edges of the cut conduit using a deburring tool to remove any sharp or rough edges.
  3. Prepare the Connector: Ensure the connector is clean and ready for installation.
  4. Insert the Conduit: Slide the cut end of the conduit into the connector until it is fully seated.
  5. Tighten the Setscrews: Use a screwdriver to tighten the setscrews on the connector. This secures the conduit in place and ensures a concrete-tight connection.
  6. Check Alignment: Use a level to ensure the conduit is straight and properly aligned.
  7. Connect to the Box: Attach the connector to the metal outlet box, load center, or other metal box where the offset is needed.

Tools Required:

  1. EMT Conduit Cutter: To cut the EMT conduit to the desired length.
  2. Deburring Tool: To smooth out the edges of the cut conduit.
  3. Tape Measure: To measure the length of the conduit accurately.
  4. Marker: To mark the cutting points on the conduit.
  5. Screwdriver: To tighten the setscrews on the connector.
  6. Level: To ensure the conduit is installed straight and level
