HOW TO PRINT AN INVOICE
Locate the invoice link
Located at the top of every page, the Invoice link can be found on the right-hand side of the screen just above My Cart.
Search Tips:
By default, when the Invoices link is clicked, it will display all Open Invoices.
To view all past invoices, click on the Orders link located in the left-hand menu of Invoices.
Choose the invoice type you want to print
Open Invoice
To print an open order invoice, click on the specific order number from the list on the right. When you click on the order, a browser version of the invoice will appear. To print the PDF version, click on the Print button located in the lower right-hand side of the screen.
Past Invoices
Single Invoice print- Click on the invoice number and then select PRINT at the top of the screen. It will open the PDF and save to your computer downloads folder. If you click Attach File, the attachment will appear only on Storefront. The file will not be attached to the printed PDF invoice. Attaching a file allows you to return to the invoice and review it inside of Storefront.
Multiple Invoice print - Click the check box located beside each invoice you want to print. Click on the ACTIONS button located at the top of the screen. The fall out menu provides three (3) choices of print format: .csv. .pdf, and .sage.
CSV - The . csv file extension stands for "comma-separated value” file, and it's one of the most common outputs for any spreadsheet program. A comma-separated value file refers to a file where the data is input as data and separated by commas.
PDF - .pdf stands for "portable document format". Essentially, the format is used when you need to save files that cannot be modified but still need to be easily shared and printed. This does not require special software. 99% of all computers will open this file automatically when selected.
SAGE - .sage is a programming language most often associated to POS (Point-Of-Sale) systems. This is helpful when trying to upload pricing or data files into your POS.
In the instance below, once you select the invoices you want to print and choose the format you want them printed as, the file will be saved in your computer's download folder as a "Zipped" file. A .zip file is a list of files that have been compressed enough to combine all of the files into a single file. As seen below, the chosen invoices were downloaded and appears named as orders in the download folder. When the orders file is clicked on, it will open (extract) all of the invoice pdfs. The pdfs can be printed inside your pdf reader by clicking on File > Print. It will be sent to the printer you have chosen.
