The SharkBite U249LFA Drop‑Ear Elbow is a 1/2‑inch push‑to‑connect × 1/2‑inch push‑to‑connect, 90‑degree brass elbow designed for secure, rigid mounting points in plumbing systems. Featuring integrated “drop ears” with mounting holes, this elbow can be anchored to framing, making it ideal for shower arms, tub spouts, hose bibbs, and other fixed outlet locations where stability is required.

Built from lead‑free DZR brass, the U249LFA provides excellent corrosion resistance and long‑term durability. Its push‑fit ends allow tool‑free installation on PEX, copper, CPVC, PE‑RT, and HDPE pipe, creating a watertight connection in seconds—even on wet lines. Stainless‑steel grab teeth ensure a secure hold, while the EPDM O‑ring forms a reliable seal.
