SHARKBITE U3008LFA — 1/2 IN SLIP COUPLING (BAGGED)

The SharkBite U3008LFA Slip Coupling is a push‑to‑connect repair fitting designed for quick, clean, and tool‑free repairs on 1/2‑inch copper or CPVC water lines. Its slip‑style configuration allows you to remove and replace up to 2 inches of damaged pipe without needing to add a splice or extra pipe section.

This coupling is specifically engineered for emergency repairs, such as burst or freeze‑damaged lines. One end of the coupling slides freely along the pipe, letting you position it exactly where needed before locking it into place using a SharkBite disconnect clip or tongs. The fitting installs on wet or dry lines, making it suitable for fast field repairs.

Built from lead‑free DZR brass, with a stainless‑steel grab ring and EPDM O‑ring, the U3008LFA offers long‑term reliability and resistance to corrosion. With performance ratings up to 200 psi and 200°F, it's approved for potable water systems and hydronic heating applications, and meets major plumbing code requirements including UPC, IPC, and cUPC. This model is compatible exclusively with copper and CPVC, not PEX.
