Oversized grade 80 clevis hooks provide improved strength over grade 70 construction and are similarly heat-treated for¿improved performance, while¿increased material in the neck of the hook helps to reduce¿cracking due to trapped side pulls.¿The grade 70 XHD 3/8-in. x¿10-ft. chain assembly with grade 80 clevis hooks is¿made to NACM standards per specifications of the Department of Transportation & CCMTA for tie-down use with properly marked links¿and aluminum tags with stamped WLL information.
