Instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Ensure the ends of the EMT conduit are clean and free from burrs.

  2. Assembly:

    • Insert one end of the EMT conduit into the coupling until it reaches the stop.
    • Repeat the process for the other end of the coupling with the second piece of conduit.
  3. Tightening:

    • Use a wrench to tighten the compression nuts on both sides of the coupling.
    • Ensure the connection is secure and concrete-tight if required (by taping the coupling).
  4. Inspection:

    • Check the connection to ensure it is tight and there are no gaps.
    • Verify that the coupling is properly aligned with the conduit
